How To Upload a Book to HeyBeta

Uploading a book

1. Log into your Heybeta account
2. You will be directed to your Heybeta homepage. Click on “Add Book.”
3. Add the book title, select which pen name you would like to use, and add your book’s description. Then click “Create.”
4. To add in your first chapter, click “Add Chapter.”
5. From there, you can choose to fill out the Chapter information, including your Chapter Title, Chapter Notes (which will be shown above your chapter), and Feedback requests (which will be shown below your chapter, right above the comment section.
6. After filling out your chapter information, scroll down to the text box below and insert your chapter content. Click “Create.” You can select to email your readers about this new chapter if you have already invited your readers to the site!
7. Create as many chapters as you would like to show your Beta readers.

Editing your Chapters

1. Click on the chapter you would like to edit.
2. Click “Edit Chapter.”
3. From there you can edit your Title, Chapter Notes, Feedback Request, and your chapter content
4. Once you have made your desired edits, you can either Update Current Version, which will replace the last version of the chapter, or you can Save as a New Version, which will create a new version that your Beta Readers will view.
