How to Start Beta Reading the Book

Starting Beta Reading the Book

1. You will get an invite email from the author to start beta-reading their book. Click the “Get Started” button to start working on the book.
2. Log into your account.
3. After you log into your account on the top of the page you will see a notification that you’ve been invited to beta read. Press the green "Accept" button to view the book.
4. You will be led to the Book page where you can see all the existing chapters and comments that the author left for you. The author will also leave instruction.
5. There are two different ways to start beta reading the book:
   
   a. “Start Reading At The Beginning” button:
   
   If you want to start reading the book from the beginning and follow the order of the chapters - you should click the button “Start Reading At The Beginning”.
   
   b. The other way to start reading is to go to a particular chapter:
   
   Click on the name of the chapter you would like to read. You will be led to the content of Chapter. There you can find the notes the “Chapter notes from the Author” and “Feedback Request from the Author” that can help you to figure out what the author expects to get from your feedback.
